Telegram Notifications Setup

Get instant Telegram messages when users submit feedback on your support pages. Works with direct messages or group chats.

SupportDock Bot

Our bot @SDockNotify_bot handles all notifications by default. You don't need to create your own bot — just provide your Chat ID and you're set.

Option A: Direct messages

Receive notifications directly in your personal Telegram chat.

Open the SupportDock bot

Open @SDockNotify_bot in Telegram and tap Start.

Get your Chat ID

Send /chatid — the bot replies with your personal Chat ID.

Paste into SupportDock

Go to your app in the console, open the Contact tab, and paste the Chat ID into the Telegram Chat ID field. Hit Save.

Done

You'll receive a Telegram message every time someone submits feedback on that app's support page.

Option B: Group chat

Share notifications with your team in a Telegram group.

Create a Telegram group

Create a new group in Telegram (or use an existing one) where you want to receive notifications.

Add the bot to the group

Add @SDockNotify_bot as a member. The bot will automatically send the group's Chat ID when added.

Copy the Chat ID

Copy the Chat ID from the bot's message. If you missed it, send /chatid in the group to get it again.

Paste into SupportDock

Go to your app in the console, open the Contact tab, and paste the group Chat ID. Hit Save.

Use your own bot (optional)

If you prefer using your own Telegram bot instead of the SupportDock bot:

  1. 1Open @BotFather and create a new bot with /newbot.
  2. 2Copy the bot token BotFather gives you.
  3. 3Add your bot to the chat where you want notifications.
  4. 4In SupportDock, expand "Use your own bot instead" under the Telegram section and paste the token.

What notifications look like

When someone submits feedback, you receive a message with:

  • App name and feedback category (Bug, Feature, Question, Other)
  • Sender's name and email
  • Subject and message content
  • Direct link to the feedback in your console
